REDELFI S.P.A ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF A NEW FASHION MARKETPLACE WITH THE INNOVATIVE STARTUP CLYUP
A new innovative marketplace operating in upcycling with blockchain certification is born

Redelfi S.p.A. (“Redelfi” or the “Company”), a management company operating in the green and digital transition, announces the launch of the upcycling and circular economy fashion marketplace of innovative startup ClyUp S.r.l., in which it holds a 20% stake through its subsidiary Benvenuto S.r.l.
ClyUp S.r.l., an innovative women’s entrepreneurship startup based in Milan, is a circular fashion community marketplace where users can create a personalized showcase of clothes and accessories reworked through upcycling, a virtual place to buy and resell garments, with the possibility of sourcing the secondary raw materials needed for users’ reworkings. This activity aims to raise awareness of reducing waste and safeguarding the planet from pollution from fast fashion. The marketplace also has a strong social value: a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support charitable projects, and each user can have their own space to present their creations. The innovative IT element is the application of blockchain technology, which makes it possible to certify each garment at the time of sale, setting a “zero point” in a twofold perspective: responding to the need of the buyer who wants to know the history of the product purchased and protecting it from the risk of counterfeiting.
The launch of this startup is in line with Redelfi’s intrinsic values starting from compliance with ESG criteria and all the way to the use of innovative elements to support environmental protection, presenting itself as a dynamic community inclined to change. Through product management activities, Redelfi contributes to the conception of a young and innovative brand, cooperating in product communication. Enginius S.r.l., a subsidiary of the Company, as part of the development of the marketplace, has taken on the role of Technology Advisor and Chief Technology Officer, providing its technological expertise.
