REDELFI SPONSORS “ELETTRA,” THE ELECTRIC BOAT DESIGNED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF GENOA FOR THE 2024 MONACO ENERGY BOAT CHALLENGE

Redelfi S.p.A. (“Redelfi” or the “Society“), a company that heads the industrial group of the same name with operational headquarters in Genoa – engaged in the development of innovative and sustainable infrastructures to facilitate the energy transition, and listed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment of the Italian Stock Exchange announces its participation as a sponsor of the Elettra electric boat (“Elettra”), an innovative project created by students and researchers of the DITEN Department of Electrical, Electronic and Naval Engineering of the University of Genoa (“University of Genoa”). This sponsorship will support Elettra’s participation in the prestigious Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2024, an event that promotes innovation and sustainability in the boating industry and will be held in Monaco July 1-6. Redelfi has decided to support Elettra to make its contribution to sustainable mobility and encourage green technologies in the boating field as well. Designed with cutting-edge technologies that harness electric power to deliver high performance without carbon emissions, ELETTRA will compete in the “Energy” category at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge with an advanced electric propulsion system, solar panels for charging on the go, and lightweight yet sturdy materials that ensure efficiency and durability. The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge, organized by the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco, is an international competition that brings together universities, companies and innovators to compete in renewable energy-powered boat races. ELETTRA, the product of the ingenuity and dedication of students at the University of Genoa, represents a significant step forward in electric boat technology and the sustainable use of energy resources.
