REDELFI EXPANDS BESS DEVELOPMENT IN ITALY WITH NEW 500 MW PIPELINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Milan, July 18, 2024<\/em><\/p>\n

Redelfi S.p.A<\/strong>. (“Redelfi<\/strong>” or the “Company<\/strong>“), a company at the head of the industrial group of the same name with operational headquarters in Genoa – engaged in the development of innovative and sustainable infrastructures to facilitate the energy transition, and listed on the Euronext Growth Milan segment of Borsa Italiana, announces that through Renueva S.p.A, an Italian-registered company indirectly controlled by Redelfi, has entered into a partnership with Infralab S.r.l. (“Infralab<\/strong>“) for the development of stand-alone Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS<\/strong>“) projects in Italy, establishing the 50\/50 joint venture Ribess <\/strong>S.r.l. (“Ribess<\/strong>“).<\/p>\n

This partnership will enable the development, over three years, of six already identified BESS projects with a total capacity of 500 MW, which will be contributed equally by both partners, who will benefit from a performance fee that will be awarded upon completion of the development of all projects, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria.<\/p>\n

The agreement has two main purposes, firstly, to increase Redelfi’s role as a developer in the Italian BESS market through the support of Infralab’s engineering expertise; secondly, to strengthen collaboration with its partner Infralab.<\/p>\n

Davide Sommariva, Chairman of the Board of Directors<\/strong> of Redelfi S.p.A. commented, “We are happy to have strengthened our partnership with Infralab, which we already know for its great technical and engineering expertise. This agreement further consolidates Redelfi’s increasingly central position as a BESS developer in Italy with the intention of pursuing its pre-established goals.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
